With sadness we remember Oom Dirk whose friendships with the worldwide Lee Enfield enthusiasts was wide and strong. A strongly committed man to his passions which were wide and varied. His regular Facebook postings kept many of us regaled in the beauty of nature, South Africa, his family, trains, planes and his strong faith.
His willingness to share his knowledge and build relationships continues to influence those he came into contact with
Vale Oom Dirk.
Sadly missed and passionately remembered.
